Pre-order a book?
Only recently pre-order a book at the Borders website. The kind where you go to the store to pick it up. How does this system? On the day the book launching, I'm supposed to ask an employee for help and tell you the number, or am I supposed to get a copy and buy it as usual? The book is not Harry Potter, so you know, so I wont be competing with hundreds of crazy fans, ha, ha. Furthermore, in a previous question asked if they were guaranteed the book on the release date if pre-ordered, but the answer came to be a "No" If so, what would have been the pre-sale than a phone call before delivery?
You must have a confirmation message is from the site. Print and take to the store. They should carry a book reserved for you, just for you. Did you pay for the book? Or just a backup? If you paid, you must be there waiting. If you have not paid, there will be a time limit that will hold the book. As for pre-order a book if you pre-pay, a library will have your book until you come in. There are a few things that can happen. If the store receives more books that have been previously sorted, all pre-orders are honored, and the bookstore has to put or its shelves. If you receive unless pre-ordered books, the books are delivered first come first serve persons with pre-orders, and books are placed on the shelves, and other Pre-Orders are in the second shipment, before going to the books on the shelves. Therefore, you could get your book sooner than most. Most stores do not pre-order over As expected in a shipment, but sometimes things happen and not get a full load. store employees and managers do not like the drama that comes with and unfulfilled final orders more than the customer.
